School Trip Weimar

The a&o Weimar opened in October 2014 is located 700m north of the Hauptbahnhof (central station). This makes it a great accommodation for classes coming by train. The city centre is a 20-minute walk away. There is a city bus stop located outside the front door. The a&o Weimar is in a quiet neighbourhood close to an allotment garden area. Bicycle rental is also available.

This hotel, with its 91 modern rooms, was renovated in 2015 and is located in the northern part of the city of Weimar. Many of the rooms have a balcony with a view over the greenery. Conference rooms are also available for working on projects. Using public transport (bus route 7), it takes approximately 15 minutes to reach the city centre.

Staying with a host family is an excellent way to visit Germany for a reasonable price whilst learning about our way of life and with the added opportunity to practice and speak our language. All families are carefully checked for accommodation comfort, friendliness and safety to ensure our high standards are maintained. Minimum age required: 14 years. Important information: In the mornings and evenings the students will be gathered and dropped at specific meeting points close to their respective host families.
